AT&T Gives, Takes Away Free WiFi Access for iPhone Users

Recently, AT&T posted a note on its site saying that iPhone owners would have free access to its nationwide WiFi hotspot network. The note was then quickly removed.

Opera Mini 4.1 Released

Opera Software today announced its newest version the Opera Mini browser, up to 50 percent faster that prior version. Opera Mini 4.1 searchs for text within a webpage, provides URL entry with recognition based on bookmarks and browsing history, uploads and downloads files without going into the phone’s native browser and downloads pages for offline viewing.

Nokia to Add Nokia Maps to Ovi Portal for Synching with Handsets

Nokia has announced its plans to add a desktop feature to its Nokia Maps GPS solution soon, with the ability to create routes online and sync them to a compatible phone for use on the go. It is expected to be available some time this summer.
