While its not new news that Transformers: Animated is debuting on Cartoon Network in the spring, the surfacing of new toys from the show is. Over the last few weeks, concept shots started to surface and the bloggers at Toys R Evil have been diligent in gathering them into a single post. Yes, it’s here folks. The much touted and doubted software-based iPhone unlock system from iPhoneSIMfree.com is now available for retail sale. While iPhoneSIMfree itself isn’t selling it individual consumers, it is available through 4 online shops: iPhoneWorldwideUnlock in Australia ($60 AUD), 1digitalphone in Germany, iPhone4arab.com in Saudi Arabia and Wireless Imports in the US ($99 USD). Pricy? Maybe, but better than trying to do it yourself via the Geohot and causing an iPhone (and possibly mental) meltdown.

Nokia recently revealed its Limited Edition Nokia 5300 Transformers Mobile Phone, taking advantage of the success of the movie with the same name. If you’re a fan of the movie though, be warned that the phone comes with pretty much the same functions and features of the regular 5300 XpressMusic, only with a stylized Transformers themed casing. What’s more, it doesn’t even transform. If it could, I’m sure it would make record sales. As is however, consumers would probably think twice. This is probably only for the hard-core collector.

Today Apple announced that the one millionth iPhone was taken off the rack and found its new home with some unsuspecting customer. The one millionth unit was sold just 74 days after the iPhone’s June 29 market debut. Jobs had this to say of this amazing feat: “One million iPhones in 74 days - it took almost two years to achieve this milestone with iPod.” He goes on to say that he hopes to sell more of his revolutionary product to more people this coming holiday season.
